"THE CONSTANT TENANT"
was a group show and sale held at Habitat (248 Leon Ave. downtown Kelowna) on December the 9th, 2006.
With the help of all involved we managed to raise $2000 in support of the "New Hope Childerns Home" in Nairobi, Kenya. The group show was made up of 17 visual artists (from painters to sculptors to print makers etc.), music by Ari Nuefeld, Heading South, Kelly Shepherd, Laura Zeeman, the Cipes Borthers and Stephen Cipes' drumming circle, as well as a poetic performance by Rome.
A big thanks to everyone that helped support "The Constant Tenant", it was a true success. Art was shown and sold, music was played and heard, a community gathered and prospered, and most importantly people in need gained.
